Elite Pianist for Schools

Students Shouldn’t Just Hear Great Music. They Should Understand What Makes It Great.

Students experience extraordinary music, and then explore what is happening beneath the surface of it — interpretation, technique, musical structure, history, context, expression and artistic decision-making. The performance creates the experience. The understanding is the educational value. Students do not need to play the piano, or any instrument — the subject is how extraordinary music is built and interpreted, which makes it as relevant to band, orchestra, choir and general music students as it is to pianists.

Who Your Students Learn From

Meet Jeremy Ajani Jordan

Juilliard-Trained
Carnegie Hall Soloist
International Concert Artist

Critically acclaimed as “a clear technical virtuoso,” “a rare talent” and “a true Wunderkind,” Chicago-born Jeremy Ajani Jordan first performed a concerto in a live televised broadcast at the age of nine — Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1. Following studies at The Juilliard School, where he received undergraduate and graduate degrees on the Van Cliburn and Irene Diamond scholarships, he made his solo Carnegie Hall debut and won the 2006 Steinway Concerto Competition.

Jordan has performed and recorded with the Chicago Sinfonietta and the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, appeared on the radio program From The Top — including From The Top: Live from Carnegie Hall — and played Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Tokyo Opera City, Prague’s Rudolfinum and Chicago’s Ravinia Festival, as well as appearances for the United Nations Arts Council. He is also a composer whose work has been featured on National Public Radio.

Why This Matters for Students

Students aren’t simply watching an accomplished musician perform. They hear Jeremy explain the interpretation, technique, history and artistic decisions behind the music, and they can ask him about it directly — gaining access to how a Juilliard-trained concert pianist actually hears and thinks about music.

The Educational Experience

Four Components, One Experience

01

Performance

Students experience exceptional, professional-level piano performance.

02

Expert Breakdown

Jeremy takes students beneath the surface of the music — interpretation, technique, structure, history, context, expression and artistic decisions.

03

Deeper Musical Insight

Students learn what to listen for, and begin recognizing details they may previously have overlooked.

04

Live Q&A

Students and educators can ask Jeremy questions directly about the music, the interpretation and the artistic choices behind it.

  • Hear the Performance.
  • Understand the Music.
  • Ask the Artist.

Recorded performances let students hear extraordinary music. Elite Pianist adds the professional insight surrounding it, and the chance to ask the artist directly.

Classroom Context

How Schools Can Use It

Elite Pianist for Schools is a music enrichment experience that complements existing instruction. It is not a formal curriculum or an accredited course.

Institutional Program

Built Around Your School

Every school, classroom and music program works differently. We’ll work with your designated coordinator to determine the best way to bring Elite Pianist to your students.

Facilitated Classroom Experience

Bring Elite Pianist into classrooms, music rooms, auditoriums and other educational settings through teacher- or staff-led programming.

Individual Student Access

Where individual access makes sense, eligible students can receive access to explore performances and educational content independently.

A Flexible Combination

Combine classroom programming with individual access to create an experience that works for your students and faculty.

We Help With Onboarding

Your school doesn’t have to figure it out alone.

We’ll work with your designated coordinator to determine the most practical setup for your program.

A school membership covers one school location. The delivery model — facilitated programming, individual student access or a combination — is settled with your coordinator during onboarding. Read the Institutional Viewing License.

Answers for Administrators

What exactly does the school receive each month?

One new Elite Pianist experience per month: a professional-level live piano performance, Jeremy’s breakdown of the music, and an interactive live Q&A.

What if the live date doesn’t work for our schedule?

Every performance is recorded, with 30-day replay access to the recording of the broadcast, so it can be experienced when it fits your schedule. Attending live is what makes participation in the Q&A possible.

Is this only useful for students who play the piano?

No. The subject is how great music is interpreted and understood, not how to play an instrument. Band, orchestra, choir, general music and humanities students all have something to take from it, as do students who simply enjoy listening.

Is this an accredited course?

No. Elite Pianist is a music enrichment experience. It does not provide academic credit, and it does not include lesson plans, worksheets, formal curriculum, teacher guides, assessments or certification. What it provides is direct access to a professional musician’s performance, explanation and answers.

Can a teacher just use an individual Elite Pianist membership in the classroom?

Individual memberships are designed for individual use. Elite Pianist for Schools provides the institutional viewing rights and onboarding designed for classroom and school programming.

Do students receive their own access?

Individual student access can be included where it makes sense for your school. During onboarding, we’ll work with your designated coordinator to determine whether facilitated classroom programming, individual student access, or a combination of both is the best fit.

How is billing handled, and can we cancel?

School access is $99.99/month, billed monthly by card through Stripe, with no long-term commitment — it can be cancelled at any time. This is a separate school subscription from the individual membership offered to consumers.
